Punch Walls To Escape: How to Work Through All 5 Floors
Punch Walls To Escape: break walls, sell rubble at the grinder and upgrade your fists to unlock the Sledgehammer, TNT and Vacuum, then escape all 5 floors.
To escape in Punch Walls To Escape, work your way up through the prison's 5 floors. Every escape happens in that same prison, and every wall is a way out — punch through the walls around you, pick up the rubble they leave, sell it at the grinder, and upgrade your fists to unlock the Sledgehammer, TNT and Vacuum. You can run the climb solo or with up to 4 friends, and you can try to beat your own best time on each escape.
The escape loop, step by step
Progress comes from repeating the same actions as you climb.
- Punch the walls around you to start breaking out. Your fists open the first walls, and each wall you break leaves rubble behind.
- Pick up the rubble that falls from the walls you break.
- Sell the rubble at the grinder. The grinder is where you sell the rubble you collect from broken walls.
- Upgrade your fists. Upgrading unlocks tools such as the Sledgehammer, TNT and Vacuum, which help you move through harder walls.
- Work your way up through the floors toward the exit and aim for your best time.

Fists first, then the heavier tools
Your fists open the first walls, and upgrading them unlocks the Sledgehammer, TNT and Vacuum — the tools that help you move through walls too hard for your base fists. Because the rubble you sell at the grinder goes toward those upgrades, the loop keeps feeding itself: break walls, sell the rubble, come back with better tools.
All 5 floors, and a time to beat
Every escape has the same target: get through the prison's 5 floors and head for the exit. You can try to beat your own best time on every run, and the goal is framed as escaping all 5 floors as quickly as you can. See the all five floors guide for the climb itself, and how to escape faster for the best-time goal.
Solo or with friends
You can run an escape alone or team up with up to 4 friends in the same escape. The play with friends page covers group runs, and the beginner guide puts the loop in order if you're just starting.
